L’ARREPLEGADA is an interdisciplinary summer festival organised by La Verema, which takes place at the arts centre L’animal a l’esquena. Over a weekend, the festival opens its arms to dance, theatre, visual arts, performance, music, circus and site-specific projects, bringing together the public, the community, and local and international artists.

With a programme packed with young and emerging artists, L’ARREPLEGADA becomes a meeting place that encourages contemporary creativity and promotes dialogue between disciplines and generations. Acting as a catalyst for creative exchange, it aims to nurture the formation of a decentralised, active artistic network.
The festival kicks off on 24th July with a contemporary dance project by the Companyia Apolvere and a concert by Maria Estela, accompanied by a dinner for the whole village. Saturday 25th is the main day, with over twenty artistic events in a range of formats and venues. The programme includes musical recitals by Nina Busquet i Figueras and David Flores; visual artists Mariona Miquel Ros, Pocdisciplinar(t), brou.DAT and Camil Coban Esteban; circus performers Cia. Nic, Idu Massa with Jero Cassassas and Joe Farnarnier; LABA for fashion; dance from Paula Puchalt with Ane Sagüés, Ottavia Catenacci and La Pulposa; and theatre from Hugo Hamel and Marine Guez. Finally, there will be a communal meal provided by La Carmanyola and a musical evening courtesy of Mariona Calo and Roko Banana, followed by DJs through the night.
