Masako Hattori
Camerawoman and performer. She was born in Japan, has a degree in plastic arts from the University of Kyoto and graduated from the Higher School of Art in Aix-en-Provence, France, specialising in video-art, drawing, sound and performance. After working in Japan as a graphic designer and teacher at the University of Art and Design in Kyoto, she moved to France to broaden her studies in fine arts, specialising in performance and worked with Jean-Paul Thibeau, Cristophe Haleb and other artists and dancers. As well as making installations and projections for festivals, she is currently working on creation, performance and video sets for theatre and dance companies in Portugal, Belgium, France and Spain. She set up her own multi-disciplinary company for performance arts KOKOHARUKA in Santiago de Compostela in 2017.
