In 2009 Luis García "Fruit" and Pere Joseph “Pear" set up the collective “Elenigmadelafruta”, which served as a channel in the search for a dialogue between art and life. It was born in the context of the visual arts, as a consequence of the tedium provoked in them by a contemporary arts circuit so conventional that it seemed, to them, exhausted. Their starting point was humour and the excuse of silliness, used as tools to stir and wake up our living and study environments.
After ten years, and having explored various fields both individually and collectively, in February 2019 they founded Los Informalls with the premier of Entrañas con patatas (Tripe and Potatoes). They have performed and given workshops in several festivals and venues.
