Jomi Oligor
(Tudela, 1973)

He has a degree and doctorate in BBAA from the University of Cuenca (2006). He took part as a plastic artist in various collectives and held a personal exhibition in Castel-Ruiz (Tudela) in 2003. He set up the company Hermanos Oligor (Oligor Brothers) and, together with his brother, created the automoton and mechanial toy show Las tribulaciones de Virginia (The Tribulations of Virginia), with which he toured various parts of the world intensively for 12 years. He made the show/documentary guide Queiles, rio subteráneo (Queiles, Underground River) for the art biennale 42º Latitud, Tudela 2009, a piece of research into the city. He made the show/tour Barrio Lourdes vs Azucarera for the biennale 42º Latitud, Tudela 2011, research carried out with the residents of both neighbourhoods. With the companies Los Corderos and Antigua i Barbuda, he set up the creation centre Artesanato escéncico en Barcelona”. 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2012. In 2014 he joined the Mexican company Microscopía Teatro to form Oligor y Microscopía, with which he made La máquina de la soledad (The Solitude Machine), a theatre of objects documentary.
