Janet trained at the Carmen Senra School, at the Real Conservatorio Profesional de Danza (Madrid), in Berlin and in Brussels. As a performer she has worked with the companies Provisional Danza, Daniel Abreu, Lisi Estarás (Les ballets C de la B), Pablo Esbert, Pisando Ovos, Arrieritos, Megaló Teatro, Ertza, José Reches and Pedro Berdayes. She has also worked as assistant director for Daniel Abreu, Carmen Werner and Victoria P. Miranda. Her creations have been performed at Rencontres Choréographiques, Festival de Marseilles, Festival Nouvelles-Pole Sud, Cement Festival, Dança en Transito, MOV_S, TNT Dansa, Mes de Danza Sevilla and the XXV Festival de Madrid en Danza, among others. She alternates her work as a dancer and creator with teaching at various centres in Spain, Europe, Latin America and Asia. She continues to develop her work, in collaboration with artists such as Rut Balbís, Lipi Hernández and Sara Sampelayo.
