Federica Porello is a dancer, dance teacher, choreographer and biodynamic craniosacral therapist.
She is currently a member of the companies
Mal pelo, ZOO/
Thomas Hauert and the collective
Group LaBolsa, founded in 2012 by seven international dance creatives committed to a search for performance practices and to live creation.
In 2012 she began to work with
Xavi Moreno and
Marine Broise, assisted by Olivier Broise-Troude, forming the group Les Chasseurs Cueileurs. Together they developed a practice that combined dance with the manipulation of objects Danza de Objectos, and they made the piece WeWood (2018). In 2022 Federica used the same practice to create the piece NOWHEN, in collaboration with
Xavi Moreno,
Fanny Thollot and
Pep Aymerich.
In 2017 she won the Ciutat de Barcelona prize and the Premio de la Crítica de Barcelona for her performance of Bach, a piece first created by
María Muñoz of
Mal Pelo in 2004 and passed on to her in 2016.
