Dedicated to contemporary dance for the past 17 years or more. She trained at various schools in Mallorca, Catalonia and Berlin, and attended courses with internationally acclaimed professionals (including
Mal Pelo,
Julyen Hamilton,
Lisa Nelson and Josef Nadi). Her practice and personal interest centres around the Body Weather training method, which she learnt with
Constanza Brncic,
Andrés Corchero and Elias Cohen, and the techniques of improvisation and instant composition. However her creative work has developed alongside artists from different disciplines (music, theatre and the plastic arts), and by taking part in research processes and body work. Since 2011 she has been refining her choreographical interest in the relationship between music and dance, creating the pieces Astros Mínimos, Hitzak, Metáforas Caché, Saïdia, Verónica and Retablo en Dos Partes. As a performer, she has worked with
Xavi Bobés, Pau Bachero, Laura Girotto, Lipi Hernández, Cecilia Molano and
Andrés Corchero.
She currently lives in Barcelona, where she is studying for a higher degree in Performance and Choreography at the Institut del Teatre. She combines her work as a dance teacher with that of dancer and creator, as well as following her interests in work on the body and expression in different contexts and social groups, concentrating on community educational projects. Her most recent projects have involved organising movement workshops at the prison in La Palma and the project Los ojos en las manos (Eyes in Our Hands), which aims to develop dance education for people with impaired vision. In 2017 she was awarded a grant by the Observatorio de las Artes Escénicas Aplicadas del Instituto del Teatro to create the dance piece Espejo en un espejo (Mirror in a Mirror) with visually impaired people.
