This festival of dance and movement directed by María González is a TRANSFORMA project organised with the Instituto de la Cultura y las Artes of the Ayuntamiento de Sevilla and backed by the Consejería de Educación, Cultura y Deporte of the Junta de Andalucía, and the Instituto Nacional de las Artes Escénicas y de la Música of the Ministerio de Educación, Cultura y Deporte.
MES DE DANZA/DANCE MONTH is a member of the “A cielo abierto” (“Open Sky”) network.
MES DE DANZA/DANCE MONTH has received the following awards: El  Público 2006 prize from Canal Sur Radio y Televisión Andaluzas to an Arts Organisation.
Max 2009 de las Artes Escénicas prize awarded by La Crítica for their work in the arts.
Prize of Honour 2013 at the 4º PAD Prizes -  Asociación Andaluza de Danza
Special distinction 2014 from the Junta de Andalucía on the occasion of Andalucia Day for their enterprise and know-how.
