Dancer, creator, teacher of dance and improvisation.
She finished her studies in Dance at the Universidad Provincial de Córdoba, Argentina in 2014. In 2016 she moved to Barcelona, where she continued her studies with, among others: Lucas Condró,
Mal Pelo, Marina Mascarell, Horacio Macuacua,
David Zambrano, João Fiadeiro,
Julyen Hamilton, and Deborah Hey.
As a performer, she has worked with
Mal Pelo (2023-), LaCerda (2017-), Lucas Condró (2022-2023), Big Bouncers (2022),
Los Informalls (2021-), Exploding Fest (2021), LaSúbita (2021), Colectivo Lamajara (2020/21), and JoãoFiadeiro (2019), among others. In the autumn of 2023 she took part in the second Proyecto Z at Graner.
In 2018 she set up, with Valentina Azzati, the project Si Los Martes Fueran Viernes, a space dedicated to the study, practice and creation of pieces of instant composition. The duo Garcia-Azzati have directed and presented their pieces at the Mercat de les Flors, Graner,
La Caldera Barcelona, Utopia 126, and Pla Roig. They earned a Special Mention in Dance at the Premis de la Crítica d’Arts Escèniques for their improvisation festival: Enemigos Intimos. During 2023/2024
SLMFV took part in the the project EnResidencia run by the Institut de Cultura de Barcelona.
Alongside her performance work, Milagros works on educational research with her “Practices for the Future”. She has given classes at the Escola Municipal de Dansa de Celrà, Área, Espai de Dansa i Creació, La Visiva, and Casa del Moviment. In turn, she has taken part in the project SuDanza, in dialogue with the Escola Enric Granados in Barcelona.
