Tom Weksler
Tom Weksler started out practising martial arts and various acrobatic disciplines. In 2009 he graduated from The Workshop For Dancers and Choreographers in Haifa. From 2010 he danced for the Inbal Pinto and Avshallom Pollak Dance Company and acted in several of the company’s productions in theatres and festivals around the world. He is currently performing in the piece Collective Loss of Memory, choreographed by RootlessRoot (Fru?ek and Lind Kapetanea) and produced by Dot504.
From 2017 to 2019 he danced for the company GN/MC, Guy Nadar and María Campos.
As a creator he has been active since 2012 and is mainly interested in artistic collaborations and multidisciplinary expression. In 2012 he created LOBOS in collaboration with the circus artists Yogi Dekel, Yuval Oz and Breno Caetano. In 2014 he made the duets SARU and Heder in collaboration with the Japanese choreographer and dancer Mayumu Minakawa. Both duets have been performed at various international festivals.
In 2017 he premiered the duet Pilim in collaboration with the circus artist Yogi Dekel.
Since 2017, Tom has worked with Roser Tutusaus.
He gives movement workshops at dance schools, circus schools, martial arts halls and for professional companies around the world.
